Free Story #12 - Foretold (Chapter 2)

No sex this time, sorry guys!

-

After I had admired my past, a deep rumble echoed in my stomach. I suddenly remembered that we hadn't gone shopping at all in the last week. And what with all the members of Jenna's pack round every night and our own needs, it was definitely time to restock.

Jenna's pack had grown to twice its size in the last few weeks. They were all mostly newly transformed duals, one of them had only transformed on the night I met Doug.

So now her pack comprised of herself, Doug, Stephen (Campbell's son), Willow, Andrew and Kari. Willow was about thirty years old with deep black hair that was tinted blue. She was fairly timid but her and Jenna seemed to be friends from a long time ago so as long as her and Jenna were together, she was calm.
Andrew was in his late twenties and fit as a fiddle.

His red hair always was tied back into a ponytail albeit when transformed and his emerald eyes were second only to Doug's. Finally Kari was blond, in her late teens and full of spunk. They were all nice people but somehow me and Andrew didn't seem to gel quite as well as the others did. Maybe it was the fact he too was gay and more than willing to flirt with anyone.

My thoughts trailed from my hunger and Zoe's pack to my own transformation later tonight. If it had been possible for me to forget what Campbell had said to me, I would probably have chosen not to.

The transformation was going to be painful. But at least having something to compare it to gave me some kind of assurance. Especially as most modern media interprets the transformation as something to be feared and looked upon with disgust.

Another rumble told me now was not the time for contemplation. When I went back in the living room, Doug wasn't there but after looking around, I saw a note was clasped to the fridge.

Hey babe
Me and the pack have gone for a hunt before tonight. Love you.
Doug

It was actually a relief to be alone for a change, seeing as how every moment was either spent with supernaturals or people who needed me to serve them food or drink. After making a quick list, I ran out the door and to my car. I arrived at the supermarket within five minutes and started to go round the aisles.
When I got to the dairy aisle, someone had spilt some milk so I tried to dodge it by going left. Unfortunately I hit another trolley and some of the items fell on the floor. Thankfully there was nothing breakable. I picked up all of the stray items and gave them back to the owner.

"I'm so sorry" I said.

"No problem" A familiar voice replied.

Jumping about three feet in the air, I looked up to see my friend Glenn. I blushed then smiled as wide as I could.

"Glenn?" I asked him.

"The only and only" He replied.

There was a pause for a minute while I got my sense of control back. He always gave me quite a shock at least these days. Due to the fact that he wasn't exactly human. He was an Adonis. A man who exuded sexual perfection in both looks and personality. He had been born what he was and so over time had got used to the fact.

The only downside was, if he fell in love with someone who wasn't supernatural and kissed them, they would be transformed into physical perfect themselves. They wouldn't become an Adonis like him, but they would become physically and sexually perfect. Because of this, it was very hard for him to form relationships with normal people.

In fact it was thanks to Glenn that I found out about the supernatural. Because his ex-boyfriend had shown up right before we were about to kiss. Worse luck. Anyway, he had been a human and was screaming about him being cursed, some kind of Adonis or something. And when I had questioned him, I had seen he was right.

I was scared beyond belief that Glenn wasn't human so I ran away from him. That night, Markus appeared and he explained everything. The next day, I went to Glenn and apologised for the way I acted. Since then, we had stayed good friends. Because a relationship based on looks was something neither of us wanted.

"How you doing?" I asked him.

"Not too bad. Dating a vampire at the moment" He replied.

"Bit exotic for you isn't it?" I joked.

"Not really, I've had worse" He laughed.

That was certainly true. He had admitted his ex-boyfriend had only been interested in looks. In fact Glenn had met a lot of people in the fifteen hundred years he had lived. Immortality was highly common among the supernatural I noticed. I was now among their ranks. For better or worse.

"Anyone I know?" I asked.

"Don't think so. He's a new one" Glenn explained.

"Blood transfusion accident?" I asked. Shuddering at the thought because of what happened to Gordy.

"No, bitten. The guy who did was destroyed"

"Ouch"

"Yeah, but the guy raped him first" Glenn said with no air of sympathy in his voice.

"Deserved everything he got then" I replied.

Just then, the vampire in question walked behind him and gave him a kiss. Glenn returned it and for a second they were lost in each other's company. Once it was over, I got a good look at him. And did a double take almost immediately.

It was Doug's former companion, Kevin.

Admittedly, he looked a bit paler than the last time we had met but it was him alright. I realised that Glenn didn't know I knew him. In fact he didn't even know so I decided to act like I hadn't met him. Which in truth, I hadn't.

"Taylor, this is Kevin" Glenn said.

Kevin smiled. His teeth were pearl white just as I had expected.

"Nice to meet you" he spoke.

His voice had a lisp. Probably due to the fact his front fangs had changed shape like most vampires I knew. The only one who I knew closely ran a small pawn shop at the end of the high street. He was a nice guy, but he had a tendency to get overexcited if you came into the shop with a visible cut or scratch.
"Likewise" I said almost at once.

After a few seconds of tense silence, Glenn coughed.

"We'd best be off. Great to see you again" he said.

"Yeah. We'll have to get together sometime"

Glenn and Kevin nodded with respect and left. As they did I couldn't resist turning round and looking at Glenn's perfect physique. Think a young Hugh Jackman mixed with the guy that plays Connor in Primeval. Oh the things I would have done. I met no-one else on my shopping trip and after using the self-scan terminal to pay, I took the bags to my car.

While I was placing them in the boot, I heard a familiar whistling noise coming from behind me.

"Good to see you're so relaxed" I laughed.

It was Stephen. He was dressed in his usual casual clothes and was arm in arm with Kari. The two seemed to be very comfortable together recently and if they weren't careful, a patter of tiny paws may have ensued. But that was not something that any of us wanted to imagine, at least right now.

"Well after the first time, it's really simple" he laughed.

Kari shoved her elbow into his side and he growled slightly at her. She gently licked his face and he was instantly calm. In some ways, I couldn't wait till I could do that. But controlling it in certain company would obviously require a certain amount of restraint.

I bet you are imagining the licks were-animals give each other as all over the face. Well that's only during private moments. If you get my meaning. For simple affection, it's like a gentle brush for a split second. The first few times it creeped me out but now, it doesn't phase me in the least.

"Need a lift?" I asked the two 'lovers'.

"Only if you don't mind" Kari said. Her voice was very similar to Keeley Hawes. Also known to some as the voice of Lara Croft. I shook my head in approval so after a few seconds, we were seated and belted into the car. A few minutes later, I pulled into the driveway outside the house where Campbell and Stephen called home. My two passengers vacated the vehicle and walked up the gravel drive.

"Cheers for the lift" Stephen shouted.

"No problem" I answered and continued driving till I reached home.

When I got through the front door, Zoe was sat on the sofa. Arc was in his cat form spread out on the chair. I rolled my eyes and went to grab a drink from the fridge. After grabbing a can of Cherry Tango, I opened it with a flick of my wrist. I dropped the can in shock as red smoke poured out of the top and formed into a man.

"Colin?" I said.

"Sorry bout that, Marina kicked me out so I needed sometime to stay" the familiar red genie explained.

"In a can of Cherry Tango?" I asked.

"It was either that or the mayonnaise"

"That's not mayo"

Colin looked in the fridge and shivered.

"Cream cheese" I assured him.

Colin breathed a sigh of relief. Which was a big sigh considering his size. I went to the cupboard and got out a small empty bottle of aftershave. It was lucky Doug never threw anything out.

"Think you could live in here?" I asked.

He examined the object for a minute then nodded. He looked at the empty can in my hand and clicked his fingers. A new can of Cherry Tango appeared in my hand ready to drink. I opened the can and no genie emerged from it this time.

"Nothing abnormal in anything else in your fridge" he assured me.

He clapped his hands together and became red smoke once again. He poured himself into the aftershave bottle and a stopper appeared in it. The bottle flashed and it was gone. I drunk the Tango with relief then sat down next to Zoe on the sofa. It was three o'clock. Only four hours till I would transform for the first time.

And as I closed my eyes for a second, I hoped for my sake, I was ready.

I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew, the alarm on my phone went off. Waking up, I sat up and turned it off. Standing on the other side of the room were all of Jenna's pack. After a few seconds, Jenna noticed that I was awake and walked over to help me to my feet.

"How long was I out?" I asked her.

"About three and a half hours" she answered.

That meant it was half past six. I suddenly remembered it was only half an hour before I first transformed. The itching had intensified slightly and my body temperature had definitely risen. It wasn't uncomfortable but it was noticeable. I had also noticed that my already increased sense of smell had grown stronger meaning I could pick up the smell of the rubbish bins outside as well as every smell in the room.

The front door opened and Campbell walked in. He was with his two most trusted allies, Drake and Hax. The two were dressed in leather biker gear in the same style as Campbell but they were appropriately underdressed to show that they were not highly ranked.

Hax was the larger of the two and seemed to be slightly too adoring of his alpha. Every now and again he would look at him with the kind of adoration a child would give to a favourite toy. Drake was toned and ready for action. I remembered how he had launched at me the night after Doug had been exiled and wondered if I could ever truly trust him.

But then again, he had only been following orders. So it was definitely a case of benefit of the doubt.

"You ready pup?" he asked me.

"As I'll ever be" I replied.

Slowly but surely, the packs began to leave the room until the only people that were left were me, Doug and Campbell. Without any warning, I burst into tears and fell to the floor. Doug transformed into his werewolf form and rubbed himself against me for a minute or two. I hugged his massive lupine form and dried my eyes.

When I looked into his eyes, he whined. I stroked his perfectly formed muzzle and stood up carefully. Doug transformed back and put his clothes back on after a second of total nudity. After about a minute of silence, I cleared my throat.

"Sorry about that" I said.

"Don't worry about it. It happens to all new duals" Campbell explained.

Why he hadn't told me about this I wasn't sure. But if I had been expecting it, I probably would have overanalysed it more than I was doing right now. Doug licked me and I returned the gesture.

"Time to go?" Doug asked me.

"Yeah" I answered.

After we had locked the flat, we got into my car and the GPS took us slowly but surely to the place we had decided upon. It was almost pitch dark now and the clouds were just beginning to part. I could feel my muscles in my legs begin to twitch and my face was starting to tingle.

We arrived at the place with only ten minutes to spare. All of Jenna's pack was present as they had been in the flat and to my complete surprise; all of Campbell's pack were there as well. Most of them greeted me with smiles but some of them looked as though I had appeared and proclaimed supremacy.

I gulped at this point. Had I got myself in too deep?

Free Story #8 - Guided (Chapter 8)

Maybe I should have been surprised, but honestly, I wasn't. Arc seemed to be so human in the way he acted as a cat that I'd kind of thought there was something not quite feline about him. Zoe however was nonplussed. She kept looking at Arc then back at the wall.

"Why have you been living with us all this time?" I asked.

"I needed somewhere to go after my pack kicked me out" he said sheepishly and shuffled his feet.

"I thought only were-animals ran in packs?"

"Not all the time, they kicked me out when they found out I wasn't a genuine werecat"

So now I knew about werecats. That was another species to add to my radar. But this wasn't the time for celebration.

"I let you sleep on my bed, Eat my food. Then lick me when I needed company" Zoe yelled.

"I was going to tell you but I was afraid you would reject me because I wasn't like you. Seeing as how you did that to every boy you've slept with over the last three years"

That was a mistake. Zoe slapped him across the face and went into her room slamming the door. Cringing as I heard the sound of falling plaster, I saw Arc starting to walk toward the door.

"I think it's best if I leave" he said.

Zoe wasn't ready to forgive him yet but I was.

Even if he had tricked us all, he had only done because he was scared of living alone. After all, he had never attacked us, so why should he now?

"No don't go, she'll come round"

As I said this, I heard the sound of falling from the bedroom. A quick glance at each other was all we needed to investigate as soon as possible.

We opened the door to find Zoe knocked unconscious on the floor. She would be ok but clearly the rage wasn't going to subside quickly like it usually did.

There was only one person I could think of to help us; I just hoped that he would. We put her gently on the bed and left the room.

Picking my mobile out of my jeans, I dialled the number and waited for the call to be answered. About three rings later, a gruff masculine voice echoed down the receiver.

"Hello?"

"Colin, its Taylor. I know its short notice but I really need your help"

There was a moment of silence. At first I thought he had hung up because he didn't exactly owe me any favours.

"I'll be right there" he said gruffly and hung up.

Just when Arc was about to ask what I was up to; the doorbell rang. Opening the door, there was a small antique vase on the doorstep. I took it inside and placed it on the table.

Arc looked at me as if I had gone mad. I gently rubbed the side of the vase with a cloth.

It glowed with a golden aura and thick red smoke poured from it. Arc was completely astonished and didn't move. The smoke drew together in the centre of the room and in a flash of light, a tall red skinned male with black hair stood naked except for a towel wrapped around his waist.

"How may I serve you?" he asked me in a rich voice.

"Knock it off Colin, this isn't the time" I snapped.

"Fine, what seems to be the problem?" he asked in a voice that was as common as muck.

Arc was gob smacked that a genie had appeared in the middle of the room.

He kept trying to speak but kept falling over his words. After he heard the explanation, Colin nodded.

"So basically you want me to make Zoe forget that Arc was ever a cat?" he said.

It was a possibility but not a valid one. I had heard of plenty of times in the past of someone using wishes to erase memories. Needless to say, they had all gone horribly wrong.

"No, all we need is for her to accept the situation we are currently facing a lot faster than she would normally"

Colin stroked his beard. Well goatee.

"I only make the healing easier. I can't take the pain away. Is that ok?"

That was exactly what I wanted. It was also the reason I had asked Colin to do this.

Someone like David or Marina were slightly inexperienced being only two hundred years old. They might have tried to make it go away, but instead caused things to get even worse.

Not so much for their enjoyment but for his own selfish pride, Colin got every wish right. He wasn't a modest genie by any means. I nodded to confirm the question.

"Well then, speak and it shall be so" he said.

"Colin, I wish that you would help Zoe in the way we have agreed"

Colin stretched his arms above his head. But just when he was about to clap them together, I suddenly changed my mind. What was I doing interfering with someone else's emotions?

"Wait! I wish for that wish to not be granted!" I yelled.

He stopped and looked at me. He looked slightly relieved.

"I'm glad you came to your senses. You shouldn't try and mend relationships that way" Colin said in a calm neutral tone. It was strange to hear the words but they were exactly what I had to hear.

"What do I owe you for the inconvenience?" I asked him.

"Nothing. Remember the favour you helped me with?"

"The whole thing with Marina?"

"Yeah, if you hadn't helped me, she would have died"

Smiling slightly at his sudden display of gratitude, I shook Colin by the hand. He smiled, winked at Arc and clapped his hands together. Colin became red smoke then poured himself back into the vase and it disappeared in a flash of light. Arc looked at me.

"Why did you stop him?" he asked.

"Because we shouldn't try to fix Zoe that way. I'll try to talk her round in a minute. She'll see reason eventually"

Arc smiled and a relieved smile crossed his face.

"How can I ever thank you?" he asked.

"Never leave hairballs in my bedroom ever again" I replied.

Arc laughed. He then gave me a big hug. Completely taken by surprise, I pushed him away from me but apologised a second later.

It was then that I heard low growling. That seemed to rumble from deep inside something large. Something inhuman.

Spinning around, I noticed I hadn't closed the door properly. The wind must have blown it open. It was practically against the wall behind it.

Standing half transformed in the doorway, was Doug.

And he didn't look friendly.

*

For a second, I wondered Doug was so angry. Arc started to back toward the wall, fear present in his sapphire coloured eyes.

"Doug, what the hell are you doing?" I asked him.

He looked at me for a second and snarled. Then, it occurred to me that he might have got the wrong idea about the hug Arc had given me only seconds before.

Doug completely transformed into his wolf form and walked over to Arc. His body was tense and ready for battle. Without forewarning, he slammed his paw against Arc's neck and pressed down very hard.

"What the fuck were you doing with my boyfriend?" he growled.

If it had been possible, I would have jumped about three foot into the air. The fact that werewolves could speak in wolf form was something I hadn't known.

"Nothing I swear" Arc gasped. His face was filling with blood.

Doug clearly didn't believe him because he pressed down harder on his throat for a second.

"And you expect me to believe that? I've saw what happened"

Arc's eyes were bulging out of his sockets. If I didn't do something soon, he would be dead. But how could I stop him? An idea sprung into my head and because Arc's life was in danger, I didn't pause to think of the consequences.

Running to the kitchen, I pulled a bucket from the cupboard beneath the sink and filled it with cold water.
As soon as it was full, I ran over to Doug and threw it all over him.

He howled in surprise and let go of Arc.

Just at that moment, Zoe opened her bedroom door to see what the noise was all about. Arc didn't waste time. He transformed into his cat form and ran into the room. Zoe looked at me for a second in confusion.
I tried to give her a look that said 'keep him safe'. When Zoe saw my jealous boyfriend running toward her door, she understood what I meant and slammed it shut. Doug tried to pull on the brakes but the sheer size of his wolf form meant that he slammed into the door. He collapsed to the floor unconscious.

As I watched, he shifted back into his human form, with a massive bruise on his temple. I laid him on the sofa and put a cold flannel on his head. A few minutes later, the bruise was gone and he awoke. For a second he looked confused, and then his anger returned. This time, I stood in front of the bedroom door. Doug strode over and stood three feet from me.

"Stand back" he growled.

"Doug, it was harmless"

"A likely story" he spat.

"Did you know Arc was a shifter?" I asked him.

Doug suddenly realised that the cat that had run into the room was identical to the one he had smiled at.
"I do now. But that doesn't give him the right to kiss you" he retorted.

"He didn't kiss me! It was a hug to thank you for offering to help Zoe"

Doug's expression still remained unconvinced.

"And why should I believe that?" he asked.

"Because I love you and I wouldn't lie to you" I answered.

For the first time, he looked into my eyes. He could see that I was being honest, that nothing had happened and that it was purely innocent. It was then that he believed me. He could also see that his rage at Stephen being attacked had made him nearly kill someone for a crime they hadn't committed.

"Taylor, I'm so sorry" Doug said slowly and carefully. His anger and pain were quickly turning into grief and sorrow.

I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around his chest. A moment later, he started sobbing onto my shoulder. When he had calmed down, I wiped his tears away with a lick and kissed his cheek.

"I was so scared that I had lost you, just like I nearly lost Stephen, and how I lost Gregory. He was everything to me and he ran away because he couldn't cope with what I had done to him"

After rubbing his back, I smiled and tapped him on the nose.

"Doug Henshaw, that was an accident. You won't ever lose me"

His eyes looked swollen after his emotional outburst so he rubbed them gently. I suddenly realised just how many time we had shed tears, both happy and sad in our relationship. To me, it wasn't important.

It showed we were open and trusting. Doug's jealousy had only been temporary due to the grief of nearly losing Stephen.

Speaking of the recovering werewolf, he walked through the door and smiled. He was carrying a small bag in the one hand and a Chinese takeaway box in the other.

"Anyone fancy a chinky?"

Me and Doug nodded and smiled. He stepped through the door and took it through to the kitchen.

"Where are the plates?" he asked.

"Top cupboard by the washing machine" I replied.

Doug smiled at me and licked me gently.

"Before we eat, I need to apologise to Arc" Doug said calmly.

After nodding in approval, we went to Zoe's bedroom door. We knocked but heard no answer. Worried, I turned the knob and we looked inside. What we saw made us do a double take. Arc was human again and shagging Zoe brainless. We quickly closed the door. A few seconds later, we both started laughing at both each other's expressions, and the sheer surprise of the situation.

"I think I'd better wait a bit" Doug laughed.

"Yeah I think so" I smirked.

We went into the kitchen to find three steaming plates of chicken chow mein, egg fried rice and chips. Stephen picked up his own plate, grabbed a fork from the drawer and sat on the sofa.

Me and Doug both followed suit and we switched on the TV. An episode of Will and Grace was on. As we watched, I hoped to myself that me and Doug weren't a stereotypical gay couple. But then again, I couldn't think of anything that was stereotypical in a relationship between a human and a werewolf.

That night was the start of a few weeks of nothing but a normal life. Well if you can call some supernatural things normal. It was just what I always wanted. A boyfriend I loved more than anything and a set of friends I wouldn't trade for the world.

The next full moon since we met finally came around. Things between me and Doug were as great as ever and Stephen, Doug and Jenna were proving to be the best friends I could ever ask for. Because of the special occasion, Jenna, Stephen and Doug were planning to go to a pack meeting at the nearby forest and I was going to stay in with a good book and a few cans of Vimto.

It was late evening and just as I was poured myself my first cup of Vimto, a noise even more terrifying than a howl rang through the flat. The sound of a gun being fired.

Free Story #6 - Guided (Chapter 6)

A quick warning before this part. This scene contains a scene of sexual interaction between two males. Personally I find it hot, but you may not. If you don't, please don't criticise the people who like this kind of content. We don't criticise straight sex. :)

Anywho, on with the tale of Taylor and Doug ...

-

I woke up the next day to find myself lying in bed with Doug lying asleep beside me. He looked so handsome and peaceful without his clothes on I didn't have the heart to wake him. Just lying there watching the breath leave and enter his body was enough. A warm body weaved around my legs making my jump a foot in the air. I lent down, to find it was only Arc. He must have snuck in through the window.

After tapping him on the nose for coming in through such a dangerous route, I opened my bedroom door and scooted him out.

"Morning'" came Doug's voice from the other side of the room. He was awake and already dressed. That was quick. He put my boxer shorts in the small washing basket just by my bed. Zoe had tried to wash them using magic at first but she always made the shirts shrink or the blue socks to turn bright orange.

"Morning" I replied.

The Calvin Klein had worn off so I could only faintly smell the wild smell of his other form. But that smell alone was powerful enough to give me a small erection. Doug smiled when he saw it and I blushed in spite of my own desperate longing to remain nonchalant at the fact that a guy was checking out my package.

"No need to be embarrassed, I see it all the time. Every guy within five metres of me gets one if they smell it. Just the way it is" Doug seemed to be very matter of fact about explaining it.

He must have needed to explain a few things to his former lovers, not the least of which turning into a half man half wolf. There was one thing that I needed to know above all else.

I wasn't sure if he wanted to tell me but I had to know in some way if it was possible, even though Markus said it wasn't I needed to hear it from him.

"So, can you turn someone into a werewolf?"

Doug looked surprised at the question but he obliged me with an answer.

"Only if I bite someone in animal form. And only if they aren't a supernatural being" he answered. He seemed to be rather touchy on the subject. I looked at him with an air of sympathy. When he noticed this, he sighed.

"About thirty years ago, I went out with a guy who I thought I loved and thought he loved me. I accidentally bit him and he transformed into a werewolf.

My pack hadn't told me about this so I was freaked out"

"But not as much as he was. He shouted at me that i was a freak and that he never wanted to see me again. I went to find him to apologise but he had disappeared"

A shrill gasp came from my mouth without me even knowing it had left till I heard the after effect of it. Doug looked both emotionally drained and relieved and a few silent tears had spilled onto his cheek. I realised I must have been the first person he had told the story to because it seemed to have been locked inside for a long time.

I patted him gently on the back and he licked my neck gently to ease some of the stress.

Part of me didn't like the lick but the other half of me told me it was the way that werewolves showed affection. I licked his neck gently and kissed him on the cheek.

"It wasn't your fault no one told you" I reassured him.

"I know, I spoke to a counsellor a few weeks later and we sorted it out" Doug replied.

It seemed like he was over it but the harsh lesson had remained. Somehow I knew that he would never put me in that situation. Deciding that a change of subject was in order, I cleared my throat.

"So, what are you to this afternoon?"

"Me and the pack are going for a drink" Doug replied.

I didn't know why, but I was surprised. I mean after all they were human most of the time and they must have lives beyond the usual circle of friends. He looked at my face and saw my surprise.

"Yeah, is it so wrong?" he asked me in a false tone that could have been interpreted as 'So what?'.

"No of course not"

I tried to picture what would happen if a werewolf got drunk and the image wasn't pleasant. Remembering how one Christmas, a distant aunt's poodle had got into her sherry and threw up all over the carpet, the tree and my aunt. She had taken him to AA every week thereafter until she had got a caution from the police and had been sectioned for carrying out the practice in her local church.

"Alcohol has no effect on us, it just passes through" he said giving me the information I was going to ask for. At least that was something I wouldn't have to worry about at three in the morning.

I sat on the bed next to him then kissed him. He repeated the gesture.

After a make out session, the smell of dry pheromones reached my nostrils. My already straining morning erection grew larger. Doug bent down, released my quaking member from my trousers and took it in his mouth. He was an expert and his tongue hit all the right places.

He gave me pleasure I never had experienced or dreamed possible through masturbation. I moaned in pleasure as he continued to work my tool and two minutes later, I could feel myself beginning to reach the limit.

"Doug, don't stop" I moaned.

He went even faster and I moved my hips in rhythm with his tongue. The pleasure got more and more intense. Until finally, I yelled in pleasure and reached the strongest orgasm I had ever experienced. He sucked me dry and as he did so, worked it over making the pleasure of the orgasm a lot more intense than I had expected.

He pulled out and wiped his mouth clean. After I got changed, Doug went to the bathroom for a wash. We went into the living room afterwards to find Arc and another cat chasing each other playfully round the room.

Still recovering from the effects of the bj, we adjourned to the kitchen and made a subpar set of American pancakes. After we wolfed down our breakfast, (no pun intended), we sat on the sofa together and placed our arms around each other and watched the two cats playing for a minute. Then without warning, the new cat flashed with light and a naked Zoe appeared.

I averted my gaze out of courtesy and covered Doug's just to be sure. I knew that was he was gay, but I wasn't going to give him the chance. Not knowing if that was selfish or being over protective, I dismissed the thought for the time being. I only removed my hand from his face once Zoe carefully put her clothes back on.

She picked up Arc and left the room very quickly. He seemed to be used to her changing because he didn't freak out. I hadn't been there the first time but Arc had gone wild when he saw what happened and it took three hours to persuade him to come out from behind the fridge. Eventually though, he had and the two became better friends.

Zoe took Arc back to her bedroom and Doug took it upon himself to wash up while I dried and put away. Doug looked at the clock and grabbed his coat from the couch.

"Sorry Taylor, I'm gonna be late for work if I stay here much longer" he asked.

He run back; gave me the usual kiss and went out the front door closing it behind him. Just when I thought it couldn't get any stranger, he had a job? I suppose he needed something to do and he couldn't just live in the woods like werewolves from mythology.

I shrugged and suddenly realised I needed to be at work too. So I quickly got dressed, said goodbye to Zoe and ran as quickly as I could back to the bar.

Arriving home after a pretty easy but draining shift, I settled onto the sofa.

I was just about to fall asleep when the doorbell rang. Walking over, I looked through the hole and saw Doug waiting patiently. I left him in and we huddled on the couch. When Arc saw my werewolf, his fur stood on end and he hissed lightly. I moved gently toward the cat to shoo him away. Doug smiled a relaxed smile at the cat and suddenly, he was calm and even lay on his lap. My boyfriend stroked him gently with his perfect hands and placed him on the floor afterward.

"So, do you have any brothers and sisters apart from Jenna?" I asked him.

"Two brothers" Doug replied.

"My father is one of the highest ranked in my old pack and my mother is one the packs surrogate parents"
He didn't look too happy with the idea of his mother being an incubation unit but common sense told me that if he didn't question the fact I shouldn't either. Common sense was a pain in the back passage but I knew it was there for a reason.

Doug turned to face the window; the moon that had not been there last night was just starting to poke from behind the thin clouds that covered the sky. A few stars and several helicopter lights twinkled in the deep black nothingness of space and he sighed. Two howling noises echoed through the window.

Not being used to it I faltered slightly and waited to hear Doug's reaction.

"I should go; Stephen and Jenna are calling me"

Carefully getting off the floor, I kissed him gently. He licked my face then gently kissed me in return. Abruptly, I stopped myself from disciplining him not to do that. I reminded myself that in his society it was a standard way of showing affection. We walked down the hall and I opened the back door to let him out. He walked through and turned to face me one last time.

"Be careful" I said to him.

"Don't worry Taylor, I'll be back" he said with more sincerity than I had ever witnessed from a man in my life.

He waved as he walked away then ducked into a nearby alleyway out of sight .Half a minute later; I heard a howling noise echo throughout the town. I knew that it was Doug, that he was safe and that it was meant for me. I somehow knew exactly what it meant and as I closed the door to the night, I spoke the four words I had been longing to say ever since I had heard the howl.

"I love you too"

Closing the door and turning to face the room. I suddenly noticed that Zoe had been spying on me the whole time we had been saying goodbye.

"He seems nice" she said.

"Nicer than all the other werewolves you've met?"

She met with quite a few super naturals here and there.

"Yeah he does. He seems to really care about you" Zoe replied.

"I guess imprinting on me kind of helped" I admitted shyly.

Zoe looked flabbergasted. Arc, who had been chewing his mouse looked at her and slapped her gently with a paw. She smiled and gently threw the mouse through the cat flap. Arc chased after it and ran through the flap almost falling off the top step.

"He imprinted on you? Well no wonder he cares about you. The imprint is the most important part of their life"

Why Zoe was repeating her textbooks to me I wasn't sure but she was right.

My emotions were as true as they could be. It wasn't true love yet I knew, but it was a friendship and trust far beyond the constraints of simply going out to the cinema or going swimming in a lake. My instincts told me that I had found a good companion. It would be true love someday, but it would take time. Spending any time with Doug was time well spent. I suddenly realised that I was acting like a lovesick adolescent. Slightly embarrassing but true.

Hiding it from Zoe was harder than I thought but she didn't say anything positive or negative. She just smiled. Zoe and Arc went into their bedroom a few minutes later leaving me to surf the channels alone.

The doorbell rang a few minutes later and looking through the secret peep hole, I saw that it was Markus.
I opened the door with a genuinely surprised look on my face. Whenever Markus had appeared before in my flat, he had appeared in a puff of green smoke.

"Since when do you ring the doorbell?" I enquired.

"Since I heard on the grapevine you've got a new boyfriend" Markus replied. He was wearing a different top tonight thankfully because walking around in his other shirt would have made him look like a pimp. No offence to him I thought.

Tonight, he had gone for the sensible choice of a light blue chequered shirt and jeans.

"Didn't think you'd go with the werewolf" he said in an amazed voice but it also had a sense of deep wondering.

I explained all that had happened in the past twenty four hours. He reprimanded me a little when I told him of the brothel scenario. But once I had explained the whole story, he completely understood why I might have been a little confused. Seeing that I regretted that part completely and was sorry for what I had almost done seemed to cool his temper. He apologised for acting so uptight and stubborn then cleared his throat and changed the subject.

"So Doug has imprinted on ya? That doesn't happen very often outside of the werewolf community" Markus said in awe.

I wondered if it was the kind of awe for his own personal benefit or the awe that would get him massive kudos in the supernatural community. Imagining that it would be like showing off a new toy at school made me smile. A picture of Markus came into my mind using plastic figures of me and Doug shagging each other.
Markus seemed to know what I was imagining and did something I wouldn't have expected. He stuck his tongue out at me for a second. Then, it was as if was never there.

"Anyway, I have to go. A couple of professional bank robbers found a genie in a lamp in a museum"

Looking bemused at this was difficult as it seemed so cliché for one to be found there.

"Now they have wished themselves to become gold statues" Markus explained.

I groaned with slight amusement. Genies in general weren't tricksters. They lived in lamps only as a home, they weren't trapped. They could basically live in any non-living object they wanted. One golden rule was that possession of a human or any other supernatural being was beyond even the most powerful genie's magic.

Which was a relief.

They weren't compelled to grant wishes either; it was just something they did to make sure people didn't think they were evil spirits instead of benevolent servants.

Keeping up the popular myth kept them off the radar.

If only people were more careful about what they wished for, maybe genies would have a better reputation.

"Is it Colin again?" I asked.

Colin was a genie who tended to live around the area. He and his girlfriend Marina had stayed in more objects than were deemed possible. Once an object has been discovered as a genie's home by another being, the genie or genies have to leave it else it could cause mass hysteria or disruption. If everyone thought they could get wishes from a particular object. It would be like Aladdin's lamp all over again.

"No, it's a genie named David. He's only young and a bit unlucky. But it wasn't his fault that the wish was so vague" Markus explained.

He winked at me and in a puff of green smoke he was gone.

I coughed for a few seconds until it faded and cursed at him for setting off my smoke alarm in the kitchen.

Future Projects #1

Hey everyone. Hope you liked my review and the first part of one of my older books. I will keep uploading the remainder of the story and then I will upload the sequels.

The purpose of this post is to lay out a basic outline of the two books that I have in the pipeline at the moment. I tried to write just one but I kept getting distracted. (Damn Autistic tendencies)

Without further delay, here are the basic synopsis outlines of the new books.

Masters of Fate

Leo Sanders is a young werewolf who is tired of living his life in the status quo. He has an over demanding alpha for a father, and a brother who wants nothing more than him to be involved with the  life he has been born into. But when his father decides that he and a wolf from another pack are to be married to ease tensions, Leo is horrified to learn that it is his ex-boyfriend Damon.

Fed up with the pressures, Leo decides to take a short holiday. When he is away, he discovers an old lamp at the beach market. When he polishes it up he gets the shock of his life. A powerful genie named Owen emerges from the lamp and declares Leo to be his master.

Although he is desperate to escape, Leo does not want to make any of the wishes to change his life, which gains him the respect of the genie, who slowly begins to realise that there is more to their friendship than just the master bond. And both them learn that maybe one day, they will be free to choose their fates for their own.

Saving the Dead

Xander Dinari is a vampire with a difference. He didn't choose to be one and he doesn't want to be any more. After a freak accident changed him from living to undead, Xander is desperate to avoid the clutches of Perone, his maker's own maker who desires nothing more than blinded servants to give him what he needs and the lust of the blood that used to belong to his kind.

Lining up a line of wooden stakes, Xander jumps off the highest building in the city and prays the end of his life. But he didn't count on a man with superhuman powers of his own, who saves the city in nothing but a red superhero costume. Although shaken and angry by the intervention, he is given a new lease of life. A fact that is cut short when his maker is murdered, making him the property of Perone.

Xander now wants to do three things in his life, find a way to bring his makers murderer to justice, be free of the evil Perone and find the man who flew through the air and saved not only his body, but his heart.

I decided for my first review to do a type of supernatural romance that is annoyingly overlooked when it comes to M/M relationships. A magical being that can give you anything you wish for, at the cost of his own freedom.

Aidan Tierney is a young man who has his whole life ahead of him, but he feels that it is already over because of the death of his boyfriend Richie. Unable to move forward completely with his grief, he is eventually able to sort out his dead lovers belongings. When he searches through a seemingly unimportant box, he finds a mysterious bottle inside that contains an incredible secret, an all powerful genie named Zahir.

The genie is incredibly grateful to Aidan for setting him free, but as is the case with many supernatural romances Aidan doesn't think he is real. After the initial shock has passed, Zahir reveals that he can perform any three commands asked of him and then he returns to the bottle until another releases him. After a brief conversation, Aidan commands Zahir back into the bottle. When he is inside, Aidan decides to forget it never happened.

As the story continues, Aidan is forced to use his first command and in doing so, he finally believes that the genie is indeed not a figment of his imagination and that he is beginning to feel attracted to his servant. The rest of the story reveals the two getting together and in the end, nearly everyone gets what they wished for.

The main characters of the novel were incredibly believable and not a single one felt as though they were added  just to perform one action in the plot. Aidan's grieving was not overdone, and as a result it feels genuine. Zahir's kind nature combined with his obligation to serve his new master made you feel from the second you meet him that you wanted him to fulfil a command of his own.

The main plot line is well constructed, full of twists and turns to keep you guessing, and there was never a moment where I felt that a scene went on for too long. The sex in the book was highly descriptive but because you feel for the characters, it feels more like a reward and nothing like a chore.

In short, Out of the Blue is a brilliant novel and a fine example of how male/male genie and master romances can and do work well. The only shame is that Zahir doesn't have an identical twin, because I would definitely command him to love me as much as I loved him.
